What Bank Accounts Are Acceptable for BingoPlus?

BingoPlus only accepts withdrawals to personal savings or current accounts that meet these criteria:

  • Under Your Name: Must exactly match the name on your BingoPlus account.
  • Individual Ownership: Solely owned by you (no shared access).

Unacceptable Bank Account Types

The following accounts cannot be used for BingoPlus withdrawals:

  • Joint Accounts: Shared with another person (e.g., spouse, family member).
  • Payroll Accounts: Issued by employers for salary deposits.
  • Business Accounts: Registered under a company or organization.
  • Government/IOL Accounts: For pensions, subsidies, or institutional use.

Why These Restrictions Exist

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance: Ensures traceability of funds to verified individuals.
  • Fraud Prevention: Blocks unauthorized transfers to third parties.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Follows Philippine banking and gaming laws (e.g., AMLA).

How to Confirm Your Account is Valid

  1. Check your bank statement or mobile app to confirm:
    • Account type is “Personal Savings” or “Personal Current”.
    • Name matches your BingoPlus profile exactly (e.g., middle initials included).
  2. Use BingoPlus-supported banks like UnionBank, Metrobank, or BDO for seamless transactions.

What If You Don’t Have a Personal Account?

  1. Open a New Account: Most Philippine banks offer free personal savings accounts.
  2. Use GCash Instead: Link your GCash wallet (under your name) for instant withdrawals.
