In celebration of the MassKara Festival, BingoPlus Foundation marked BingoPlus Day on October 20, 2024, in Bacolod City by rolling out ₱3 million worth of community grants focused on education, healthcare, and indigenous support.
These initiatives reflect the Foundation’s commitment to long-term, inclusive growth across Negros Occidental.
Robotics and Programming Support for Cadiz Youth
The Foundation awarded ₱500,000 to Cadiz Public Library to advance robotics and programming education. The grant includes training for teachers and equipment that will benefit local students—like Grade 12 innovator Angeline, a finalist at the 2024 National Science and Technology Fair.
Funds will also help Angeline further develop her projects, including a mini weather system and a breast cancer detection prototype aimed at helping under-resourced communities.
Vision & Education Support for Karolano Community
To empower the Karolano indigenous group in Kabankalan, the Foundation committed ₱1 million to:
- Provide vision screenings and prescription lenses for elders across 12 barangays.
- Equip Karolano youth scholars with educational tablets, helping bridge the digital divide.
This initiative supports both cultural preservation and future development for indigenous communities.
Upgrades for Valladolid District Hospital
A ₱1.5 million grant was awarded to Valladolid District Hospital to enhance its facilities and care for indigent patients. Upgrades include:
- New hospital beds, IV stands, operating tables, and wheelchairs
- Creation of a “PLUS Center for Accessible Healthcare” inside the hospital
- Coverage of costs for select patient procedures
These improvements align with the Foundation’s KalusuganPLUS program, ensuring essential health services reach underserved areas.
Medical Missions and Disaster Relief
Leading up to BingoPlus Day, the Foundation also supported:
- “Libre Nga Operasyon” by donating after-care kits and eye vitamins
- Disaster relief after the Mt. Kanlaon eruption
- Support for the LAB for ALL medical caravan in Bacolod
These initiatives reflect the Foundation’s fast response to urgent health and disaster recovery needs.
A Celebration of Smiles and Service

“BingoPlus brings the fun; the Foundation brings the care,” added Rafael Jasper Vicencio, Director of DigiPlus and President of AB Leisure Exponent Inc.
