Elena\u2019s par-five 3rd and 16th holes<\/strong> led to two eagles, marking the defining moments of his round.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI totally forgot my score out there,\u201d said Tabuena, dedicating his performance to his late friend <strong>Paolo \u2018Paowee\u2019 Tantoco<\/strong>, son of Sta. Elena\u2019s owner Rico Tantoco. \u201cI was in a flow state and just wanted to execute my plan. His back-nine blitz of four consecutive birdies from 14 to 17 put him right in the mix.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just hit a lot of greens and made a lot of putts,\u201d Zheng said. \u201cThe eagle on eight really gave me momentum.
